How to describe the indescribable, how to bound
the unbounded We cannot describe nor are able to glorify enough what His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi is doing for our path to personal Enlightenment and for the Enlightenment of our country. It is beyond our comprehension and our simple human minds. What we could only do is to briefly review what was done in the field of the relative – to describe a drop in the ocean of knowledge, achievements, and profound fulfilment that Maharishi-ji is constantly bringing to us, to our families, to our society, to our country. We have always been blessed by Maharishi’s divine attention, even though Maharishi-ji did not come personally to Bulgaria. Maharishi’s Movement in our country started officially in the fall of 1989 and the beginning of 1990. It was during a very difficult transition period for the country. Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation came when there was huge scarcity – scarcity of food, scarcity of water, scarcity of electricity, scarcity of knowledge, and a huge thirst for true spirituality. This was the first time that Transcendental Meditation Teachers came officially in Bulgaria. They stayed for several months and taught Transcendental Meditation to thousands of people. One year later the first Transcendental Meditation Sidhi course was held, and very soon in 1992 with Maharishi’s blessings a Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course was organized in Bulgaria and 31 new Bulgarian Transcendental Meditatin Teachers were trained. Within a few years, Maharishi’s organisation in Bulgaria grew quite substantially. Several others Transcendental Meditation Sidhi courses were organized and about 300 Sidhas (Yogic Flyers) were trained. The required Super Radiance number of Yogic Flyers was achieved in a very short period of time. Maharishi-ji has created all necessary conditions for the country to become invincible. Sattwa grew in the collective consciousness and the transitional period for the country went as smoothly as possible, avoiding civil war or serious social conflict. Only recently have we realized that Maharishi’s attention on the country has been always present. We understood that over the years Maharishi-ji has been silently sending Teachers. The first Teachers came to the country twenty years before the Movement was officially started, and it came out that the greatest scientist of our time, Dr John Hagelin, had visited the country and addressed Bulgarian scientists in private and official meetings many years before the official start of the Movement. Maharishi-ji was caring for each and every country in the world; no matter whether small or big. Each nation was very deeply in Maharishi’s heart; and we felt that constantly. In recent years, Bulgaria was extremely blessed by the personal attention of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. In June 2005 Maharishi-ji started contacting us on a regular basis on the phone and inspiring, guiding, and actually starting with unending generosity a substantial number of projects in the country. Under Maharishi’s divine guidance we have organized in a short time a very dignified Maharishi Invincibility Centre in Sofia, the capital city, and a second Centre in western Sofia; we have acquired three pieces of land in our capital city to build Sthapatya Veda schools, Peace Palaces, and a Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre; we have acquired the shares of a high school to be able to apply Maharishi’s Consciousness-Based Education; we have acquired land at the Brahma-Sthan (central point of the country) as a place for establishment of Invincible Bulgaria University; and an agricultural project has started in the country. With Maharishi-ji’s divine attention on our country this flow of events started miraculously – a flow that never ended afterwards. Things that were previously unthinkable just started to happen, one after another, in a very short period. In 2005 we established our Foundation ‘Maharishi Global Country of World Peace’, and it was another historic moment in the history of Maharishi’s Movement in Bulgaria. With these projects the physical establishment of Maharishi’s Global Country of World Peace in Bulgaria was accomplished. The pinnacle of Maharishi’s care and attention was the recent visit to Bulgaria of some of the closest people to Maharishi-ji. Our beloved Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, Dr Bevan Morris, the world’s greatest artist, David Lynch, and the world’s greatest scientist, Raja John Hagelin, visited Bulgaria from 6th to 10th November 2007. During this supreme visit the feeling was as if Maharishi-ji himself had put his foot in Bulgaria. All of the mass media of the country published positive articles and millions of people heard about Maharishi’s Transcendental Meditation and the possibility to easily create an integrated national consciousness and achieve real sovereignty and Invincibility for Bulgaria. The foundations of the Invincible Bulgarian University were laid. His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has planted innumerable seeds from which our personal Enlightenment and the Invincibility of our nation might be easily achieved. Now, it is our own Karma [responsibility of action] to let these seeds sprout, grow, give strong plants and beautiful flowers, and innumerable new seeds, so that the Total Knowledge given to us by Maharishi-ji will last forever.
